TEHRAN, Feb. 10 (MNA) � Georgian foreign ministry has informed Iran�s embassy in the country of revival of a former visa-free travel scheme once abandoned by government in Tbilisi.
The revival will allow Iranian nationals to visit Georgia for tourism and trade without needing a visa for 45 days. This is a unilateral measure by Georgia and was informed to Mr. Abbas Talebi, Iran�s ambassador to Georgia by country�s deputy-foreign minister for regional and political affairs. It will go effective on Monday February 15, the statement said.�The revival also will improve tourism and trade between citizens of both countries to the level before unilateral cancellation of the scheme on June 2013 by Georgia.
