Tehran, Feb 9, IRNA � Saudi Arabia, from the outset of conflicts in the region, has been supporter of the terrorists, deputy chairman of the Chiefs of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces said Tuesday.

Speaking to reporters, Brigadier General Masoud Jazayeri said Riyadh supports terrorism by creating terrorist groups and deploying them to the region.

Those who conduct proxy wars have had serious presence in Syria during the past five years, said he.

Fortunately, Saudi Arabia and its friends have not been capable of achieving their goals which are in line with the US and the Zionists' policies.

Jazayeri made the remarks while talking to reporters on the sidelines of a meeting here focusing on elites' coalition against terrorism.

The meeting is an opportunity for exchange of viewpoints about the latest activities and operations of the terrorists.
