TEHRAN, Feb. 2 (Shana) - An industry official said that the total production from Iran�s petrochemical complexes have surpassed 38 million tons in Dec-Jan period.

Ali-Mohammad Basagh Zadeh, Production Control Manager at Iran�s National Petrochemical Company said that the production was 4 percent higher than the corresponding period a year ago.

�Petrochemical products� exports rose by 26 percent,�� he added.

Noting the positive effects of the sanctions� removal, Basagh Zadeh said that lower transaction and transport costs can improve Iran�s petrochemicals exports.
