TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif reiterated that the country would never allow Saudi tension-creating policies overshadow settlement of Syrian crisis.
What we are witnessing in the regional developments scene is the tension-creating approach of Saudi Arabia. The country is trying to overshadow settlement of Syrian crisis through tension-creating measures, he said in a meeting with the United Nations Special Envoy for Syria, Staffan de Mistura here in Tehran.
He also said that Saudi has attacked Iranian embassy in Sanaa and made the staff injured to hide its negative approaches, adding Iran acts responsibly in protecting the embassies in return.
Zarif further noted that Islamic Republic of Iran has always acted constructively and responsibly regarding crises.
Staffan de Mistura, for his part, said efforts are being made to create a unified list of Syrian opposition considering their social and political spectrum.
