TEHRAN, Jan. 09 (MNA) � Spokesperson of Iran�s Army has said there is no need that Iran officially announces the range of its missiles.Brig. Gen. Masoud Jazayeri who was participating a mourning�ceremony in a mosque in Tehran on Saturday, briefly responded to a question about the western media accounts on the range of Iran�s missiles.

Western media had reported earlier that Iran�s missiles had a range of 2,400km; �we feel no need to officially disclose range of our missiles; any speculation about the figures are merely by the government bodies and are not independently verified by the Armed Forces,� told Jazayeri to a reporter asking the question.

About Saudi Arabian targeting of a building adjacent to Iran�s Sana'a embassy, the commander said that the Islamic Republic of Iran would entertain, at current conditions, waging efforts to bring peace and stability to the region as a major priority; �the Islamic Republic of Iran would not tolerate such miscalculations and ridiculous actions as targeting the embassy,� Jazayeri briefly commented.
