Tehran, Jan 9, IRNA � Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said Iran was now facing a vast front of enemies which included the Zionist regime and the US government.


Addressing a meeting with thousands of people from the holy city of Qom here on Saturday, the Supreme Leader said this extensive war front includes all kinds of enemies among them Takfiris and Daesh.

The Ayatollah said they are all focusing on how to uproot this strong tree of the Islamic Revolution.

He said they have all mobilized efforts to come over this particular feature of the Islamic revolution which is its stamina.

The meeting on Saturday took place on the anniversary of the uprising of people against the toppled Pahlavid regime in the city of Qom in 1978 which triggered the wave of similar moves across the country leading to the victory of the Islamic revolution in Iran in 1979.
