Iran to export technological productions to Muslim countries

Tehran,January 7, The Iran Project The head of Technology Exchange Office at Irans Deputy for Science and Technology says holding the annual meeting of the Islamic World Academy of Sciences in Tehran has provided the country a good opportunity to enhance the export of the technical achievements to other Muslim Countries.

Seyed Ahmadreza Aalaei Tabatabaei, the head of Technology Exchange Office at Irans Deputy for Science and Technology on Thursday noted the implications of the 20th annual meeting of the Islamic World Academy of Sciences held in December 26 in Tehran with the attendance of Muslim scientists, saying that it was the second time that Iran hosted this two-day conference.

Highlighting the advantages of holding the conference in Iran, he stated that the event provided the country a good chance to introduce the home-made technological productions and to prepare the ground for their exports to other Muslim countries.

Referring to the discussion sessions during the conference, he said that the major challenges facing the further scientific and technological cooperation were examined and explored during the sessions.

In the discussion meetings Iran expresses its readiness to offer its experiences and knowledge particularly in the area of health to other Muslim countries, he said, adding that further cooperation is expected in near future.

Earlier Tehran hosted the 20th annual meeting of Islamic World Academy of Sciences on December 26-27.
