China expects progress for Iran, P5+1 talks in Kazakhstan
BEIJING, Feb. 6 (Xinhua) -- A Foreign Ministry spokeswoman on Wednesday called on Iran and the P5+1 to strive for progress in talks regarding Iran's nuclear program to be held on Feb. 26 in Alma-Ata, Kazakhstan.
Spokeswoman Hua Chunying said at a daily press briefing that a Chinese delegation will attend the talks.

China is ready to work with all sides to make constructive efforts for a peaceful solution to the Iranian nuclear issue through diplomatic means, Hua said.

Talks concerning Iran's nuclear program are entering a critical phase, she said.

The last talks held between Iran and the P5+1 (the United States, Britain, France, Russia, China and Germany) on Iran's nuclear program were held in Moscow in June 2012.
