TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian deputy interior minister said that the country would deal with any attack against embassies in Tehran.

Iranian Deputy Minister of Interior for Security and Disciplinary Hossein Zolfaghari said diplomatic sites and their staff are in full security.

He made the remarks after a number of individuals gathered in front of Saudi embassy in Tehran and set fire before the embassy.

The rally ended as police dispersed the marchers and arrested 40 individuals involved in the incident.

Nothing much happened until 10:00 pm and everything was under police control. Some immediately attacked the building. Meanwhile police arrested 40 people and identified some others prosecuted under judicial verdict.

He further said that Iran blasts any attack against diplomatic sites and would seriously deal with attacks against foreign embassies in Tehran.
