Islamabad, Dec 24, IRNA � Pakistan�s Adviser to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz said that absence of Iran from 34-nation coalition would not undermine country�s brilliant role in fighting terrorism.


Responding to a question posed by IRNA on Wednesday, Pakistan top diplomat said that Iran is very active in fighting terrorism.

Commenting on the 34 nation coalition in which Iran had not been included, he said: Iran is very active in fighting terrorism so I don�t think one should confine everything to one coalition.

He went on to say that there are other initiatives which Iran is joining at global or regional level. �In many cases, including fighting terrorism, Pakistan and Iran are cooperating very closely,� he said.
