Tehran, Dec 23, IRNA � President Hassan Rouhani said the Iranian nation is determined to make the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) bear fruit.

Addressing a meeting with the public in the city of Rey in south of Tehran on Wednesday, he said the nation was willing to open the gates of the country to the world for economic development.

Referring to 12 anti-Iran resolutions adopted by the United Nations Security Council as well as six other resolutions which imposed sanctions against Iran, the President stressed that the implementation of the JCPOA in January will in practice make all these unfair documents null and void.

He said the victory Iranian politicians managed to accomplish during nuclear talks in Vienna, Geneva, New York and Lausanne in safeguarding rights of the nation was to due to support they had from the nation.

The President further highlighted the need for all to contribute in victory and development of the country by maintaining unity, convergence and cooperation.

He said the nation was in the final stages of the implementation of JCPOA that will bear fruit despite wishes of the US extremists, the Zionist regime and certain regional countries.

Touching upon the issue of upcoming elections, President Rouhani said Iran was proud of holding regular public elections even in the hardest condition.

Noting that Iranian nation has held public elections for over a century now, he expressed certainty that yet another epic awaits the nation during the February elections.
