Russia, UK agree on need to start implementing Iran Nuclear Deal
Russia and the United Kingdom agree on the need to begin the practical implementation of the Iran nuclear agreement, Russia's Foreign Ministry said Friday.

"Preparations to begin a full-scale implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action on resolving the situation surrounding Iran's nuclear program were discussed," the ministry said.
The sides noted that both Moscow and London "believe in the need for a speedy transition to the practical implementation phase of the JCPOA," and will take the necessary measures.

In July, the P5+1 group of countries, including the United States, Russia, China, France and the United Kingdom plus Germany reached a deal with Iran to ensure the peaceful nature of Tehran's nuclear program in exchange for economic and military sanctions relief.

Under the deal, Tehran agreed to reduce its stock of enriched uranium, decrease the number of centrifuges, reconfigure the heavy-water reactor at Arak, as well as refrain from any uranium enrichment at the Fordow nuclear fuel facility.
