The US says it is ready to take the next steps towards the implementation of the Iran�nuclear agreement following a�report bythe International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)�stating that it has found no indications of possible military dimensions (PMD)�in Tehran's nuclear program.



�The IAEA has confirmed that Iran met its commitments to provide responses to IAEA requests under the roadmap for clarification of past and present issues," State Department spokesman Mark Toner said on Wednesday.

The United States and the other members of the P5+1 group -- Britain, China, France and Russia, plus Germany � are to send a motion to the IAEA�on December 15 to officially close Iran�s PMD case,�"And then, after that, we can focus on implementing" the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA),�Toner stated.

Following the IAEA announcement, Iran�s Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi�said�that "it is now the P5+1�s turn to close the issue at the [IAEA] Board of Governors.�

On July 14, in Vienna, Iran and the P5+1 concluded the JCPOA and a roadmap for the clarification of past and present outstanding issues regarding Iran�s nuclear program.

In accordance to the JCPOA, limits are put on Iran�s nuclear activities in exchange for, among other things, the removal of all nuclear-related economic and financial bans against the Islamic Republic.
