Tehran, Nov 30, IRNA Iranian industry minister and his visiting counterpart from Niger in a meeting in Tehran on Sunday underlined the need for broadening of ties in mining and industrial fields.
'We are fully ready to take part in Niger's mining exploration project with the African country's private sector and our powerful private sector will promote cooperation with Niger in the mining sector with the backup of Iran's governmental sector's companies such as IMIDRO and the Geology Organization,' Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh said in a meeting with Omar Hamidou Tchiana.
'Our goal is to carry out everlasting and cost-effective activities with each other's help,' he added.
'Our viewpoint about the African states is to provide them with whatever we know; although the activities should be lucrative and economic, but the goal is reiterating on more cooperation,' Nematzadeh added.
Niger's mining and industrial development minister, for his part, thanked the country's diplomacy apparatus, and said, 'The two countries relations are expanding.'
He reiterated on geological cooperation, and called for deepening of industrial and mining relations.
