Tehran, Nov. 29, IRNA � Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei received the commanders and staff members of the Iranian Navy on Sunday.

The meeting took place on the occasion of the Navy Day on November 28. It commemorates the 1980 Operation Morvarid, a major Iranian Naval victory during Iraq's imposed war against Iran (1980-1988).

Earlier on the day, Navy Commander Rear-Admiral Habibollah Sayyari said that Iran's Navy will do its best to guarantee security of its territorial waters across the country including the Caspian Sea.
