A ceremony planned to be held at a Bordeaux festival in honor of Dariush Mehrjui, a famous Iranian director, has been called off in the wake of the recent Paris terrorist attacks.

Gaav [The Cow], Postchi [The Postman] and Dayereh Mina [The Cycle], made by the renowned director, were to be screened at the event, and the Iranian director was to hold a workshop for university students.

But, Merjui's trip has been put off to a later time as a result of security concerns in France.
