French President Francois Hollande discussed the Paris terrorist attacks with his US counterpart Barack Obama on Friday.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) � According to�the latest reports, eight terrorists were killed in�the Friday attacks.

"The two leaders pledged to�work together, and with�nations around�the world, to�defeat the scourge of�terrorism," the White House said in�a statement.

Obama also expressed condolences to�Hollande in�connection with�the Friday attacks which took the lives of�over 150 people.

"The President reiterated the United States� steadfast, unwavering support for�the people of�France, our oldest ally and friend, and reaffirmed the offer of�any necessary support to�the French investigation."
