Tehran, Nov 11, IRNA Iran supports Lebanon stability, Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab-African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said on Wednesday.
He made the remarks in a press conference after his talks with Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri.
Deputy foreign minister called his talks with Berri as constructive.
Iran supports stability and security of Lebanon and political approach for electing the country's new president, Amir-Abdollahian added.
Tehran praises Bashar al-Assad government, Syrian nation and Army for their role in fight against terrorism, deputy foreign minister asserted.
He said that Syria crisis has political solution and Tehran would continue its support for Damascus.
I believe that Yemen crisis has no military solution and can be resolved by dialogue, the official noted.
He warned Zionist regime about consequences of its atrocities against Palestinians.
Palestinian Intifada is serious and Zionists should expect more difficult days if they continue their oppressions, Amir-Abdollahian added.
Amir-Abdollahian arrived in the Lebanese capital, Beirut early Wednesday.
Upon arrival at Beirut International Airport, Amir-Abdollahian was warmly welcomed by a number of senior Lebanese officials and Iran's Charg d'Affaires, Mohammad Sadiq Fazli.
Iran's Ambassador to Lebanon Mohammad Fathali is in Tehran.
Amir-Abdollahian is scheduled to hold talks with Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri and some other Lebanese senior officials on issues of mutual interest, the regional developments particularly the Syrian crisis.
Iranian deputy foreign minister visited Moscow on Tuesday before departing for Beirut.
Amir-Abdollahian discussed latest developments in Syria and Yemen with his Russian counterpart Mikhail Bogdanov on Tuesday.
