Baghdad, Nov 8, IRNA � Iraqi President Fouad Masoum has signaled readiness to come to Tehran to attend the third meeting of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) due to be held in Tehran on November 23.

Iranian ambassador to Iraq Hassan Danaeifar and the Iraqi president held a meeting in Baghdad on Sunday during which Danaeifar invited Masoum to participate in the GECF meeting.
Masoum welcomed the invitation saying he would attend Tehran meeting.
Underlining the significance of Tehran-Baghdad ties, Masoum called on Iranian ambassador to convey his warm greetings to his Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani.
The two sides also discussed issues of mutual interest, as well as the latest regional developments.
