Bojnurd, Nov 9, IRNA - The Internet inflitration level in Iran reached 82 percent in a population of 75,149,000, according to the figures released by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.

By the end of 21 June 2015, the number of the Internet users in Iran reached 61,709,929 with the Internet connections at 43,026,279.

The 3G mobile connection had the highest share of 38.67 percent while ADSL Internet service was used by 22.07 percent.

Dial-up connection service was still used by close to 7 million users at a rate of 9.23 percent, whereas WiMAX infiltration was at 4.03 percent.

Broadband infiltration level was at 48.37 percent up from 32.31 percent in the corresponding date the year before.

Tehran, Mazandaran and Qom provinces registered 100 percent infiltration.
