Freed Iranian teachers to resume work in UAE tomorrow: Official

TEHRAN (Tasnim) � Ten Iranian teachers who were released in the United Arab Emirates after being detained over alleged visa issues will return to work tomorrow, an official at Iran�s Education Ministry announced Saturday.

Mohammad Fazel told Tasnim on Saturday that all of the teachers have been freed and reunited with their families thanks to the efforts made by Iran�s education and foreign ministries.
He added that they will get back to work on Sunday, noting that there is no obstacle on way of continuation of Iranian schools� activities in the Arab country.
Earlier, Iran�s Deputy Foreign Minister for Consular, Parliamentary and Expatriates' Affairs Hassan Qashqavi announced the teachers had been freed by the Arab country�s officials.
10 Iranian teachers were arrested a week ago in the UAE for lacking work permits.
Media reports on Monday suggested that the teachers were having a "bad experience" in prison and had their heads shaved.
Iran on Sunday had summoned the charge d�affaires of the United Arab Emirates in Tehran to protest at the arrests.
