TEHRAN Oct. 10 (Shana) Director General of Public Relations in the Ministry of Petroleum rejected reports over reaching a deal with the British Petroleum for development of oil fields and said Iran is yet to reach an agreement with any company.
The ministry has entered into negotiations with large number of countries and oil companies, however, there has neither been a final agreement nor a contract, Akbar Nematollahi told Shana denying reports in this regard.
Signing a contract and delegating the development operation of oil and gas fields to foreign countries is not easy task and is a time-consuming procedure, he added.
