TEHRAN Oct. 10 (Shana) � Director General of Public Relations in the Ministry of Petroleum rejected reports over reaching a deal with the British Petroleum for development of oil fields and said Iran is yet to reach an agreement with any company.

�The ministry has entered into negotiations with large number of countries and oil companies, however, there has neither been a final agreement nor a contract,� Akbar Nematollahi told Shana denying reports in this regard.

Signing a contract and delegating the development operation of oil and gas fields to foreign countries is not easy task and is a time-consuming procedure, he added.
