Tehran, Oct 8, IRNA - Iran's Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance, Ali Tayebnia, has left Tehran for the Peruvian capital Lima to attend the annual meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund.
Tayebnia is going to participate in the meeting of the economic outlook for the Middle East and North Africa due to be attended by the World Bank President Jim Yong Kim. He will also partake in the World Bank-IMF Development Committee.
During his stay in Lima, Iran's Economy Minister will also meet with several economic and financial officials from different countries including Japan, Britain, China, Italy, South Korea and World Bank Middle East officials.
Tayebnia is accompanied by Mohammad Khazaei, Head of Iran's Organization for Investment, Economic and Technical Assistance (OIETAI), and Deputy Minister of Economy Shapour Mohammadi.
The inaugural ceremony of the annual meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund will take place on Friday morning, October 9.
