Tehran, Oct 5, IRNA - Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan said Iran is fully capable of producing guided drones.
Speaking in a local gathering in Tehran, Dehqan reiterated that Iran's Defense Ministry enjoys valuable infrastructures in aviation industries.
Touching upon the sanctions imposed on Iran, he stressed that the Islamic Republic has managed to turn Western sanctions into opportunities in defense arenas.
Last month, Dehqan reaffirmed that Iran is ready to give powerful response to any type of aggression.
He noted that Iran has no plan to attack any country inside or outside the region and Iran's military power is quite defensive.
Armed forces will give swift and crushing response to any type of air, ground and sea attack, Dehqan added.
Iran would continue its progress in the defense industry to produce more advanced defensive equipment, he underlined.
Defense minister said that Iranian nation would defeat all enemies' plots by unity and following the guidelines of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
