First UK trade delegation to visit Iran in October

TEHRAN, Sep. 19 (MNA) Iran's Deputy Oil Minister for International and Commerce Affairs Amir-Hossein Zamaninia announced the incoming visit of a British trade delegation to Tehran on October 2.

Following a meeting with the UK's Charg d'Affaires to Iran Ajay Sharma, he told reporters that UK is ready to pay Iran's share of the Rhum gasfield after the removal of sanctions.

Zamaninia said the increase of oil output by using the old fields was among topics discussed during the meeting.

Underlining the need for foreign companies to consider meaningful cooperation with private sector, Zamaninia said Iranian private sector has gone through huge changes during the past 10 years.

According to a report by UK-based Sunday Guardian newspaper, the delegation will include 15 top managers and experts from energy, law, engineering and other sectors, who will look at opportunities in the emerging Iranian market.
