Tehran, Sept 14, IRNA Majlis First Vice Speaker Hojatoleslam Mohammad Hassan Abu Torabifard said on Monday that termination of UNSC resolutions against Iran is regarded as a very big victory for the Islamic Republic.
Reacting to allegations made by former head of the Iranian nuclear negotiating team Saeed Jalili, Abu Torabifard said it is not possible to ignore such a significant move.
'If you had let both parties to exchange views most probaby resolution 1929 would not have been issued,' he said.
There is no doubt that Iran had made significant progress in implementing the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) along with other issues which indicates the might of the Islamic Republic, he said.
Iran's power is very determining, he said adding that if such a power declines, Iran might lose the game but 'When our power increases the situation will become much better,' said the MP.
'At that time, we invited you (Jalili) to attend security commission session but you decined to do so and if you had attended the Majlis session resolution 1929 might not have been ratified or approved with delays,' he said.
