Tehran, Sept 13, IRNA � Iran's Free-style Wrestling Team stood at the second place in the 2015 World Wrestling Championships.


During the contests held in Las Vegas, the US, on September 10-13, the Iranian team ranked second after Russia.
The Iranian free-style wrestlers could not gain any gold medals during the Las Vegas contests.
The Iranian athletes won two silver and two bronze medals.
They, also, could earn Olympic quota places at the 57, 65, 74, 86 and 97 kg.
Iran's free-style wrestling team has always been among the claimants to championship in the global contests.
It has clinched the championship title five times till 2013.
Till now, Iran has stood at the second and third places seven and 11 times respectively.
