Iraqi inured in Iran bus accident discharged from hospital: official

Hamedan, Sept 10, IRNA A group of Iraqi pilgrims who had become injured during a September 6 bus accident in western Iran have been discharged from the hospital, an official said in this provincil capital city on Thursday.

Head of the health and treatment network of Malayer Mohsen Torkashvand made the remarks while speaking to IRNA.

He said the wounded have received due medical services and treatment while they were in the hospital. According to Torkashvand the Iraqi pilgrims said they were satisfied with their situation in the hospital.

Eleven Iraqi pilgrims were killed in a bus accident in Hamedan on September 6.

Twenty five of them were injured and carried to hospitals in the nearby cities to receive treatment.

The bus was heading to Iraq on its way back from a pilgrimage visit to the Iranian holy city of Qom, about 180 km south of the Iranian capital of Tehran, when it crashed due to high speed and slippery road.
