US attack against Iran is unlikely after JCPOA: Official

Tehran, September 10, The Iran Project - A senior Iranian official says the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA)has made it more difficult for the U.S. to attack Iransince they dont have any justification and will be internationally condemned.

Speaking to the reporterson Thursday, Secretary of Irans Expediency Council Mohsen Rezaeireferred to US officials recent remarks on facilitating Americas attack to Iran, and said the approval of JCPOA made it more difficult for the U.S to attack Iran because they dont have any justification and will be internationally condemned.

Mohsen Rezaeialso said by their remarks, US officials just want to show that they are still strong because president Obama is under mounting pressure for giving up from his demands in nuclear deal with Iran.

On July 14, Iran and the P5+1 countries the United States, Britain, France, China, Russia and Germany finalized the text of a nuclear agreement, dubbed the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), in the Austrian capital of Vienna.

Under the JCPOA, limits will be put on Irans nuclear activities in exchange for, among other things, the removal of all economic and financial bans against the Islamic Republic.
