Tehran, September 10, The Iran Project - A senior Iranian official says the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) has made it more difficult for the U.S. to attack Iran since they don’t have any justification and will be internationally condemned.

Speaking to the reporters on Thursday, Secretary of Iran’s Expediency Council Mohsen Rezaei referred to US officials’ recent remarks on facilitating America’s attack to Iran, and said the approval of JCPOA made it more difficult for the U.S to attack Iran because they don’t have any justification and will be internationally condemned.

Mohsen Rezaei also said by their remarks, US officials just want to show that they are still strong because president Obama is under mounting pressure for giving up from his demands in nuclear deal with Iran.

On July 14, Iran and the P5+1 countries – the United States, Britain, France, China, Russia and Germany – finalized the text of a nuclear agreement, dubbed the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), in the Austrian capital of Vienna.

Under the JCPOA, limits will be put on Iran’s nuclear activities in exchange for, among other things, the removal of all economic and financial bans against the Islamic Republic.
