MOSCOW, (Sputnik) � Tehran and Moscow plan to discuss joint design of helicopters during Iranian delegation's visit to Russia, Islamic Republic�s Deputy Defense Minister Manouchehr Manteghi told Sputnik Persian in an interview.

�During the current visit, we will discuss with Russia the issue of joint design of helicopters, as well as the issue of using the ready infrastructure for helicopters overhaul on the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran,� Manteghi said.

Iran has great experience in�the maintenance and modernization of�helicopters, he added.

The Iranian delegation visited the MAKS-2015 International Aviation and Space Salon held in�the Russian city of�Zhukovsky in�the Moscow Region between�August 25 and August 30.

More than�400,000 people visited the event. About 760 companies from�35 countries participated in�the air and space show.
