Ahvaz, Khouzestan Prov., Aug 27, IRNA � Director General of the Arab-African States Department at Iran Trade Promotion Organization Farzad Piltan said on Wednesday that expansion of non-oil exports and increase in foreign investment are among top priorities of the government.

In a meeting on trade promotion and investment with Oman, Piltan said the approach is of high importance especially when the government of President Rouhani came to power and adopted a policy of d�tente.
Piltan said among government plans are maintaining current markets, revival of the markets remaining stagnant with regards to fall in exports and sanctions over the past few years and creation of new markets.
He said necessary grounds should be prepared for national exports.
