TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman condemned the terrorist attack on civilians and journalists in the province of Lattakia.

Afkham's remarks came after a reporter of Iran's state TV, Mohammad Hassan Hosseini, was severely wounded in a terrorist attack as he was reporting on the Syrian army's advances the in Lattakia province.

"I hope that Mohammad Hassan Hosseini who has been running press activities and reporting for a long time in Syria will soon recover and resume his effective services," Afkham said.

She further condemned the terrorist attacks on civilians and journalists in Syria.

Hosseini was wounded in the terrorists' mortar attack in Lattakia province on Monday night. He was rushed to hospital where he has now regained his consciousness.
