Moscow, Aug 21, IRNA -- Russian presidential envoy to Afghanistan and head of the Russian Foreign Ministry's Second Asia Department Zamir Kabulov said on Friday that delivery of the S-300 system to Iran is the most excellent decision.

Russian Sputnik quoted Kabulov as saying that The systems will help maintain safety of Iran's peaceful nuclear facilities, built in cooperation with Russia.
He said delivery of the S-300 system, which is absolutely defensive in nature, will be the most excellent move, guaranteeing security of the areas concerned.
He noted that an agreement on the delivery of Russian S-300 missile defense systems to Iran will be signed next week.
He added that an Iranian delegation would visit Russia next week for talks on military-technical cooperation, to include the topic of S-300 deliveries.
