TEHRAN (Tasnim) � Iran swept past Germany in straight sets (25-14, 25-18, 25-22) and advanced to the 2015 FIVB Volleyball Boys� U19 World Championship quarters on Wednesday.

Aghchehli Rasoul scored 15 points to give the Iranian team the ticket to the next round.

German Moritz Rauber led the German resistance with 9 points.

Iran will now have to deal with Italy, that overcame France in a 5-set match played in Resistencia.

The French will be Germany�s next opponents, staying in Resistencia for the loser�s part of the draw.
