Tehran, July 29, IRNA � Secretary of the Human Rights Headquarters Mohammad-Javad Larijani on Wednesday strongly criticized Ahmed Shaheed, UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Islamic Republic of Iran, saying 'This man has turned into an actor of the media involved in anti-Iran propaganda campaign.'

He said that Ahmed Shaheed, as a human rights rapporteur, has no methodology.

He doesn't even try to save his face and since the day he was assigned to the task, he has turned into an actor of media that have launched anti-Iran propaganda campaigns, Larijani said.

'This man goes from one media to another,' Larijani said, adding, 'he has prepared something with 2,000 claims.'

A claim that is not verified is of no use and the one who has no methodology cannot prepare reports, the official said.

'Ahmad Shaheed says they don't let him visit Iran. You copy and paste information from other sites and why do you want to come to Tehran?' Larijani said.

'He wants to examine 2,000 claims in Iran in three days and he has no methodology.'
