Baghdad, July 28, IRNA Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif wrapped up his three-nation tour that took him to Kuwait, Qatar and Iraq on Tuesday morning.
Zarif arrived in the Holy City of Najaf on Sunday evening.
The Iranian foreign minister left Najaf for Karbala and then returned to Najaf on Monday for pilgrimage and paying tribute to First Shiite Imam Ali (AS) and meeting with senior Iraqi Shiite clerics, including Ayatollah Ali Sistani.
Zarif also departed for Baghdad on Monday to meet Iraqi President Fouad Massoum, Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi, Foreign Minister Ibrahim Jafari and Parliament Speaker Salim al-Jabouri.
