Kuwait City, July 26, IRNA The foreign ministers of Iran and Kuwait met here on Sunday noon. In the meeting, which took place at the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry venue, deputy foreign ministers and members of Iranian and Kuwaiti delegations were present.
Mohammad Javad Zarif and Kuwait Acting Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah al-Khalid al-Sabah discussed ways of expanding politico-economic ties following a nuclear agreement reached between Iran and Group 5+1.
The two ministers also exchanged views on the most important problems and challenges facing the region and role of the two countries in solving them.
Zarif started its three nation tour of the region Sunday morning.
Upon his arrival in Kuwait, Zarif met with the Kuwaiti Emir.
