After Iran and six world powers signed a nuclear deal on July 14, Iranian airlines contacted European aircraft manufacturers to meet their needs, said the secretary of Iran's Aviation Companies Association.

Maghsud Asadi Samani added, �Given that ties between Iranian airlines and European companies is still in the study phase, actual cooperation will take 5-6 months to get underway.�

He also said, �Boeing has expressed readiness for cooperation with Iranian companies when the nuclear accord is finalized.�
