Iran's industrial, commercial enrichment to continue: Zarif

Tehran, July 21, IRNA Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said here on Tuesday that during the first eight years of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), Iran's industrial and commercial enrichment continues.


Zarif went to the parliament Tuesday morning together with the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Ali Akbar Salehi to outline the achievements of the Iranian nuclear negotiating team in Vienna and present the text of the JCPOA to the parliament.

Zarif reiterated that during the first eight years of the JCPOA, not only will Iran's nuclear program be institutionalized, but the exploitation of advanced centrifuges, industrial and commercial enrichment in the most economical continues.

'The Zionist regime has never been isolated among its allies to this extent ,' he added.

'The nuclear deal could be assessed with different levels of macro or micro, international, regional, domestic and the fields of nuclear strategy, sanctions and long-term programs,' he added.

'Safeguarding Iran's dignity and authority, consolidation of nuclear program, nuclear enrichment and remaining of Arak heavy water reactor are among the key goals of Iran that has been mentioned in JCPOA,' the minister added.

He stressed that Iran and P5+1 nuclear agreement has ruined the Zionist regime security plan against the Islamic republic.

'The prolonged and breathtaking nuclear agreement between Iran and the six powers indicated that the Islamic republic would negotiate but cannot be blackmailed,' he added.

Zarif reiterated that the anger of enemies of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Zionist regime in particular, indicated that Iran is a powerful country in the region and across the globe.

Zarif stressed that Iran's nuclear negotiating team has indicated that nobody would dare to threaten the Iranians.

'Iran has further declared to everyone that nuclear enrichment, facilities, research and development would not be stopped,' he added.

'Iran's weaponry and missile programs is not related to anybody,' he said, reiterating that if anyone in the region should be held accountable are US and the West whose weapons are killing innocent people in Palestine, Yemen and Syria.
