A senior US official called reports claiming that US President Barack Obama had sent a secret message to the Iranian leadership "not accurate."
Earlier on Monday, Iranian lawmaker Mehrdad Bazrpash told a local newspaper that Tehran received a letter regarding the ongoing talks aimed at reaching a comprehensive deal on Iran's nuclear program.
"We have left the difficult work of the nuclear negotiations to our team on the ground in Vienna," the official said, as quoted by Reuters.
Iran and the six world powers, comprising China, France, Russia, the United Kingdom, the United States and Germany, have to clinch a final deal before the June 30 deadline.
