US intelligence forges documents against Iran - Envoy

US intelligence services are forging documents against Iran, Tehrans permanent representative at the International Atomic Energy Agency said on Thursday.

Talking to the media on Thursday, Reza Najafi said the claims about Irans forbidden activities at the countrys Marivan nuclear site were also based on these kinds of documents, IRNA news agency reported.

Iran has repeatedly said such documents are faked and forged by the American intelligence services against Irans peaceful nuclear program, Reza Najafi stressed.

Referring to the claims included in the latest IAEA report about Irans forbidden operations in Marivan, he said that his country had already voiced readiness to take the IAEA inspectors to any point they wanted but received no response from the organization.

He said this proved that the IAEA has been provided with fake and false information.

Turning to the Thursday session of the IAEA Board of Governors, he said that a majority of participating countries hoped talks between Iran and the 5+1 will conclude by the end of June with favorable results.

Meanwhile, nuclear talks between Iran and the six world powers are accelerating as the sides try to seal a deal by the June 30 target date.

After a meeting last week that stretched into the weekend, experts from all seven nations are resuming negotiations Tuesday. They will be joined by senior officials later in the week.

At the negotiating table with Iran are representatives from the United States, Russia, China, Britain, France and Germany. Foreign ministers are expected to join in during the final stage of the talks.
