US Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Wendy Sherman will head the US delegation during the negotiations of P5+1 group of countries with Iran in Vienna, Austria this week, US State Department said in a statement.



WASHINGTON (Sputnik)�� On May 30, Sherman will join US Secretary of�State John Kerry in�Geneva, Switzerland, for�meetings with�Iranian officials. She will, however, later continue negotiations in�Vienna, according to�the statement.

�Sherman and the US negotiating team will travel on�May 27 to�Vienna, Austria, to�take part in�the EU-coordinated P5+1 nuclear negotiations with�Iran,� the statement read on�Wednesday.
On April 2, Iran and the P5+1 group of�world powers comprising of�the United States, France, Russia, China and the United Kingdom plus Germany, agreed on�a framework for�the deal to�ensure peaceful nature of�Tehran�s nuclear program.
