Tehran, May 16, The Iran Project - Some members of Iran's parliament have strongly opposed to any agreement on inspecting military and defense centers, calling it Iran�s red line, Fars News Agency reported.

We will never allow anyone to inspect the country�s military and defensive sites; any inspection should only be within the framework of IAEA�s regulations, Seyed Hossein Naghavi Hosseini, Spokesman for the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of Iran's Parliament, made the remarks on Saturday in reaction to recent statements by Iranian Deputy FM and senior negotiator Seyed Abbas Araghchi over IAEA�s access to Iran�s military sites within the framework of the Additional Protocol.

Araghchi stressed earlier that after the nuclear deal between Tehran and world powers, the International Atomic Energy Agency�s access to Iran�s non-nuclear sites would be merely based on the framework of the Additional Protocol and will be limited to �environmental sampling�, IRNA told.

Moreover, Ebrahim Agha Mohammadi, a member of the Iranian parliament Foreign Policy and National Security Commission said that visiting Iran�s military sites is not part of the deal between the Islamic Republic and the P5+1.

Stressing that the Iranian negotiating team is only responsible to talk about nuclear issues, Agha Mohammadi added that recent remarks are not in the framework set by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

Earlier on April 9, Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei categorically rejected foreign access to the country�s �security and defensive� sectors under the pretext of nuclear monitoring.
