Iran bracing for enhanced world petchem ties

TEHRAN April 29(Shana)--Iranian Deputy Petroleum Minister of Petrochemical Affairs has said the major progress in Iran's nuclear talks with world powers has raised hopes for enhanced international cooperation in the petrochemical sector of Iran.

"The positive progress of the nuclear talks between Iran and the P5+1 countries has induced a sense of hope inside the country, especially among foreign investors and the 20th Iran Oil Show is expected to boon," said Abbas Shari-Moqaddam.
The official said European as well as the US seem to be very much interested in clinching a final accord with Iran over its nuclear program and this feeling is shared with Iranians as well.

Shari-Moqaddam, who is also the managing-director of the National Petrochemical Company (NPC), further said the company is prepared for signing deals and MOUs with foreign companies present at the showcase.
"The variety and number of the foreign exhibitors at this year's oil show is expected to rise dramatically now that hopes have risen for the lifting of sanctions on Iran," said the official.

So far, nearly 600 foreign exhibitors from 32 countries have registered for running stands at Iran Oil Show. The number is predicted to increase.
Iran will hold its 19th international Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition from May 6 to 9 2015 in Tehran.
