Vice president to leave Tehran for Jakarta to attend ESCAP conference

Kuala Lumpur, April 27, IRNA Vice President and Head of Management and Planning Organization Mohammad Baqer Nobakht is to leave Tehran for Jakarta on Tuesday to attend the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific conference.

This year ESCAP is to study grounds for meeting finical needs for development projects in Asia and Pacific.

Iranian delegation led by Noubakhat is to attend in the two-day conference on Wednesday and Thursday in Indonesia.

Iran's Ambassador to Indonesia Valiollah Mohammadi Nasrabadi tolf IRNA that Noubakhat is scheduled to confer with high ranking foreign officials on the sideslines of the conference.

Exchange of visits between Iranian and Indonesian officials gave a boost to the volume of trade exchange between the two countries which had been hit by economic sanctions imposed on Iran by the Western countries, he said.

ESCAP 2015 is to review eradication of poverty, increasing the living standards, job creation, expansion of infrastructure and existing challenges facing environment.
