Berlin, Apr 24, IRNA -- German foreign ministry spokesman Martin Schaefer has confirmed that Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier phoned Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani on Thursday afternoon.




Asked by IRNA at a news conference in Berlin on Friday whether he could give details of the talks, Schaefer replied he could not.

had requested to talk to Larijani via phone.
