Moscow, April 19, IRNA - Russian Minister of Communications and Mass Media Nikolai Nikiforov hailed Iran's progress in telecommunication and space technology.




During a meeting with Iranian Ambassador to Moscow Mehdi Sanaei on Saturday, he said that despite western sanctions, Iran has made big achievements in the fields of telecommunication and space technology.

Nikiforov referred to his upcoming visit to Iran and said that he will discuss new grounds for cooperation with his Iranian counterparts.

Nikiforov and Sanaei stressed boost of ties in all fields including telecommunication, space technology, joint investment and internet.

Tehran and Moscow are in continued contacts to discuss ways to still accelerate expansion of their fasting growing ties and cooperation over regional issues.
