Afghan president to visit Iran Sunday

TEHRAN (ISNA)- Afghan President Ashraf Ghani would arrive in Iran on Sunday at top of a high-ranking delegation for a two-day visit.

He has been officially invited by Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif.

Ghani is accompanied by Deputy to Afghanistan's Chief Executive Mohammad Mohaqiq, National Security Advisor Mohammad Hanif Atmar, Minister of Finance Eklil Ahmad Hakimi, Minister of Mines and Petroleum Daud Shah Saba, Minister for Refugees and Repatriation Sayed Hussain Alemi Balkhi and some other Afghan officials.

Ghani would discuss issues of mutual interests as well as regional and international developments with senior Iranian officials.
